WAR, the hugely influential urban band, has played together nearly sixty years. Their R&B/Jazz/Funk sound has brought generations of people together, from the summer grooves of iconic Hits like “Low Rider,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” “The Cisco Kid” and many more. They started out touring and recording with the Animals’ leader Eric Burdon, eventually standing on their own as one of the more unique acts in popular music.
